Yes. We use the official Turnitin API to process your document. The similarity report, AI detection score, and PDF output are generated directly by Turnitin's servers — the exact same system your university uses.
No. Your document is processed through a non-repository API endpoint. This means it is checked against the full Turnitin database but is never stored or indexed. Your final university submission will not show a self-match.
The score will be very close. Minor differences (±1-3%) can occur depending on your university's specific exclusion settings (e.g., bibliography, quoted text). The underlying database and detection engine are identical.
We support DOC, DOCX, PDF, TXT, RTF, PPTX, ODT, and HTML files up to 50MB. This matches Turnitin's native format support.
